Guitar setup philosophy

When I set up a guitar I set it up for me to play. I like it to have the action very close with no buzzing. Also I like to bend the second string two steps from the 15th fret up to the 19th fret showing attention to playability and tone.
I like to oil the neck polish the frets adjust the pickups I make sure that all the tuners are tight. I make sure the nut is the right height. Then I adjust the saddles and the truss rod accordingly

If you have a floating bridge with a tremolo, we determine whether you want it to pull back half step a whole step or if you want it held back to the body
